To current users of Firewall Forward Aero Engines, CAMDrive 500 PSRUs and those who are seeking a Honda-based engine for their aircraft project, please note that Firewall Forward is now in transition.
The assets of the company have been acquired by Archie Dobbins and the Air-Lodge group of companies. The new plant will be located at the Haliburton-Stanhope Airport (CND4) in central Ontario, Canada. The new Firewall Forward company has at its disposal more than 90 years of combined experience in aviation maintenance, mechanics, electronics, and restoration, spanning certified and experimental, fixed and rotary wing aircraft.
As a fellow aviator, I understand the need for continued support of, and faith in, the complete line of FFAE products. The CAMdrive 500 PSRU is a vital part of my own Wheeler Express, which is outfitted with a high output small block Chevy V8. I, and the staff here, look forward to providing the finest products and support to all who wish to incorporate Firewall Forward technologies into their aircraft.
We understand that the time to build a homebuilt aircraft can be lengthy, that the decision on engine choice can take much research and that reaching the engine ready stage can take a year or more.
