The aircraft was built from scratch by Terry Wilshire and Bob Cutting of Tally-Ho Enterprises. The Project was started in late 1987 and after approximately 12,000 hours completed its maiden flight on January 27, 1996.
A kit is presently being prepared which will include
a full set of cad drawings, step by step construction and maintenance manuals,
and parts list. Available parts will include construction jigs, laser
cut ribs, spar webs and fuselage formers; including gears, canopy and windshield
components, control stick, control panel, fire wall, fiberglass cowling panels
and other miscellaneous components.
Tally-Ho is using Firewall Forward's CAMDRIVE 500 PSRU on the upgraded model and is recommending the same reduction drive in their plan kit.
